About Tedomi

 

Tedomi designs and manufactures furniture in Barbados, combining original design, computer modelling, and modern production machinery to create pieces that are practical, durable, and distinctive.

What started in a small garage has grown into a full furniture workshop, producing furniture for restaurants, hotels, offices, homes, and commercial spaces across the island. Along the way, we have worked with clients including Seashed, Castaways, LeRoy Hotel, The Crane Resort, Wyndham Sam Lord’s Castle, Ocean Spray, and many private and commercial clients.

Our process begins with design. Each piece is developed digitally, refined for comfort, strength, and efficient production, then made locally using a mix of skilled handwork and precision machinery.

We aim to grow Tedomi into a wider local furniture offering, with more product ranges available to Bajans who want well-designed furniture made here in Barbados. Our ambition is to create pieces that can stand proudly beside furniture from anywhere in the world, while carrying a character that is truly unique to Barbados.

Being based on an island shapes how we work. We have learned to do a lot with very little: to conserve material, reduce waste, solve problems creatively, and make every board, cut, and detail count.

After years of custom work, Tedomi is now making its own furniture collections more widely available. These are our designs, made locally, at more accessible prices.

​
